I found this colored stripe quilt designed by Heather Jones from the Cincinnati Modern Quilt Guild for a Dual Duty Thread advertisement in a December 2012 McCall’s Quilting Magazine I found on my desk.

 I went through the fabric in my sewing cabin to make a smaller version of this quilt. This is what I’ve finished so far.  Starting with a 3 1/2″ x 10″ red block, I added 1 1/2″ strips of color.  I have three more colors to add.  I like how the colors flow together on this quilt.
