I stopped into Wholey Grocery Store found in the Strip District in Pittsburgh, PA.
I don’t usually take pictures of signs in grocery stores, but I liked these two neon lights!
Hope you have a Fresh Weekend (maybe eating some Fresh Foods…)!

This picture makes me smile…the doll quilt sitting beside the Penn State Nittany Lion. This picture was taken at the Historic Hotel Bethlehem. The Penn State Ice Cream Shop can be found to the left of where this picture was taken.

My favorite drink from my childhood was Birch Beer; it has a distinctive taste all of its own. It is non-alcoholic and has a stronger taste than Root Beer.
Happy Tuesday to you!

At the Portland Oregon International Airport, the statue of Victor G. Atiyeh, the 1979-1986 Governor of Oregon, holds the little quilt.
A small quilt at the Portland International Airport.
I’m taking this quilt on an adventure. I’m hoping to find some unique and fun places to capture this quilt while it is being quilted.
Come join the journey!

This is a doll quilt made of dresses from my daughter’s childhood. I have two more rows -each with six blocks – to be sewn on to this piece. I can’t wait to quilt this cute little doll blanket!
Happy Wednesday! Whatever you’re doing today…Keep going!

A sunflower blooms in the garden.
I love the thickness of the petals on this sunflower. I don’t know why this sunflower’s petal look so full or how it happened, but I am liking it!
Happy Sunday!
