I Give Thanks When Things Work Out In Life!
I met a woman named Mary from Oklahoma this week. We both made the Lewis and Clark Block of the Month Quilt through Hancock Fabric Stores.
This is the Lewis and Clark Quilt I made and posted on my blog about a year ago.
Mary saw my quilt and contacted me through my blog, because the quilt she made was chewed by a pet, as shown below.
Mary wanted to fix the quilt, but she wasn’t having much luck finding the matching fabric when she contacted me.
Never one to let go of good fabric, I found the bag of extra Lewis and Clark Fabric from this quilt (pictured above). We were in luck…I had the replacement materials Mary needed. I packaged them up and mailed them to her. She emailed me to say she received the package today!
I’m grateful for positive and helpful ways to connect with others in this electronic format.
I give thanks for Mary and for when things work out; I think it’s cool how the pieces of life came together this week!

Cool story of quilting in community! That’s what quilting is all about.
